Kitchen

Everyone needs to know how to prepare nourishing food

It’s around the table and in the preparation of food that we learn about ourselves and about the world

– Alice Waters

Cornucopia Project’s youth cooking series, was founded on the belief that food is fundamental, not only because it sustains our bodies, but also because it can feed our spirit and our sense of community.

Our kitchen programs bring students from school gardens to the next steps along the food journey. Partnering with local professional chefs, we equip youth with the knowledge and skills to prepare nourishing foods in creative and sustainable ways alongside their peers.

Cooking clubs

Registration is open, sign up now! Classes begin early November. If you don't see your school, stayed tuned for sessions 2 and 3 coming soon.

Our cooking clubs are designed for students to explore learning to prepare delicious dishes using fresh, local ingredients. This interactive class is designed to foster a love for cooking together and healthy eating habits in children.

Culinary Internships

Explore careers in the food system! We’ve partnered with local Chefs, Artisans and businesses to offer a variety of exceptional learning opportunities to young adults. Gain skills while earning school credit. Many interns continue on to employment.
