Empowering High School Students to be Engaged Members of their Community

We  are merging high school agricultural education with community service in our innovative USDA-supported project. Our current work includes a panel of education professionals who are helping to construct a four-year program for high school students.

Our curriculum will be available in both print and digital formats, ensuring that all have access to  farm-to-table education materials and experiences that support local farms and community pantries.

Designed to be inclusive, our program welcomes students from diverse backgrounds, providing equal opportunities to explore agricultural sciences.

Practical Experience

Students are gaining experience through partnerships with local farms, enhancing their understanding of eco-friendly agricultural practices.

Statewide Collaboration

We work closely with regional school districts and state initiatives to align our curriculum with existing educational frameworks, ensuring widespread impact.

2024-2025

Curriculum Design Phase

We initiate the project by collaborating with educational experts to draft a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with state standards.

2025-2026

Pilot Program Launch

The curriculum is introduced in ConVal and Jaffrey-Rindge school districts, allowing us to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments.

Looking to The Future

Statewide Implementation

Following successful pilot testing, the program is expanded to all high schools across New Hampshire, providing students with hands-on agricultural education.

We conduct a thorough evaluation of the program’s impact and explore opportunities for expansion throughout the Northeast Region.
