Cornucopia Purple Stripe – Garlic

Our own found variety that was mixed in with seed stock that we purchased 3 years ago. Likely a purple stripe variety with dark purple striping and mottling. This beautiful garlic stands out! However, this garlic does not size up well, and we are continuing to select for larger bulb size. Please be aware that our “Large” size is relative within a variety – this variety is noticably smaller than all the other varieties we grow. Averages 8.5 cloves/head, 9.2 heads/lb.
